About E. Bradley Learning
Preparing Pupils for Their Future | Keeping Teachers Teaching
Two of the biggest issues facing many schools today are:
How to we retain and develop our teachers?
How do we prepare our pupils for their futures?
At E. Bradley learning we provide workshops and other learning services to schools to achieve the aims of ‘preparing pupils for their future’ & ‘Keeping teachers teaching’.
We focus on developing the skills needed to thrive in the workplace, whether that be a school or any other. By developing personal and professional skills such as communication, time management, organisation, resilience and more, we prepare individuals for a lifetime of career success.
‘Preparing Pupils For Their Future’
A 2024 report by the CIPD found that 72% of employers surveyed believed that the young people aged 16-24 in their employment were not ‘ready for work’.
At E. Bradley Learning we believe that with the proper support and learning opportunities, your pupils can go against this trend and leave education ready and prepared for their future.
We can work with you to create bespoke learning opportunities or deliver one of our own workshops, covering topics such as:
Time management and Organisation
Communicating In The Workplace
Strengthening Your Focus and Attention
How To Find Opportunities, Apply For Jobs And Understand Requirements
How To Write Applications And Interview Skills
What Is ‘Professional’ Behavior And How Can You Acheive It?
Workshops are suitable for pupils from Year 9 onward and are tailored to meet the unique needs of your school.
‘Keeping Teachers Teaching’
In the 2026 TES Teacher Wellbeing Report, 61% of teachers said they did not plan to remain in the profession long-term. In the same survey, less than half of teachers said that their school provided meaningful CPD opportunities.
At E. Bradley Learning, we offer learning and development opportunities specifically aimed at those in their first 5 years in education. This could be trainees, ECT’s or those in years 3-5 of their careers. Many of our services are also suitable for teaching assistants and other support staff.
Our focus is on the personal and professional skills that can reduce workload, lower stress and allow teachers to focus more time and energy on what really matters - the teaching.
We can offer bespoke learning opportunities but also have a range of our own workshops aimed at ‘keeping teachers teaching’. These include topics such as:
Time Management and Organisation
Professional Communication and Working Effectively With Others
Giving and Receiving Feedback
Workplace Resilience
Skill Development For Neurodiverse Teachers
E. Bradley Learning can also offer 1-1 support for teachers struggling with a particular area. This is not coaching or counselling but practical and solution focused training to fast-track skill development in a particular area.
About Eli Bradley - Owner of E. Bradley Learning
In 2017 I began my PGCE in Secondary History at the University of Oxford. On graduation I began working as a History and RE teacher at state schools across London. I later moved to Latvia, to work for a year at a British Curriculum school in the capital, Riga.
After leaving Riga I decided to make a career change and began a new role working in Learning and Development at the Ministry of Justice in Leeds. After two very fulfilling years in this role, I left the MoJ to take up a new role in the Early Careers Learning and Development team in the Government Legal Department. Here I spent the majority of my time working on the apprenticeships team, supporting those in the first steps of their legal careers, from recruitment to qualification.
As part of both my learning and Development roles, I designed and delivered training on important professional skills for those at the beginnings of their careers. These roles also gave me an insight into the competitive world of graduate and entry-level recruitment.
After spending years outside of the school environment, I realised how much I missed working with both pupils and other teachers. This is what gave me the inspiration for E. Bradley learning, which combines my love of teaching with the experience and expertise I have gained during my time in Learning and Development.
